Mr. Lars H. Laugen joins FROSIO

FROSIO is happy to announce that Mr. Lars H. Laugen has been employed by FROSIO. He will have title Project Manager.

Due to increasing activity the FROSIO Board has decided to increase staff in our Secretariat. We are happy that Lars will start working for FROSIO. He has long experience in field of surface treatment, insulation, and welding. He holds both FROSIO Surface Treatment and Insulation level III and has besides doing consulting work, held several FROSIO courses.

We welcome Lars to FROSIO.

Per Hartland Retires

After many years of effort for FROSIO, Per Hartland has decided to retire and the cooperation between pH VALUE AS and FROSIO is terminated. Per Hartland has been with FROSIO for many years and in total he has held 112 courses, both in Norway, and mainly abroad. FROSIO represented by Chairman Trond Soltvedt, General Manager Ole Stræte and former Secretariat Manager Arild Rinvoll had the pleasure of an appreciation dinner with Per Hartland on 27 October.

 

FROSIO deeply thanks Per Hartland for his excellent efforts for FROSIO over many years and wishes him all the best in the future.

FROSIO INDIA CONFERENCE 2021

Harvish Technical Services (HTS COATINGS) held their first FROSIO India Conference in Chennai August 11th of this year. Chairman Trond Soltvedt and General Manager Ole Stræte were honored to be able to join owner of HTS, Mr. R. Venkatesan for this extravagant event. His team, including Mr. Vikash Bavisetty was a major contributor to make a successful event.

The conference included several dignitaries from the India market, many of whom talked about the need to combat corrosion and to have certified inspectors to assure best quality of all surface treatment work.

We hope this awareness of FROSIO will contribute to our growth in India and with an increasing amount of certified FROSIO inspectors.

Annual Meeting 2020

This year the FROSIO Annual Meeting is scheduled for April 23, 2020 at our head office in Oslo, Middelthunsgate 27, Majorstuen. Program will be sent to members within deadline.
