The first annual FROSIO Award was presented at “Overflate Conference” 2022 in Bergen.
The award may be given to individuals, companies, certification bodies, public bodies, schools, etc. and candidates may be nominated by all members of FROSIO within the given deadline. Proposed candidates should have carried out a solid effort promoting development in the subjects of surface and/or insulation.

Surface treatment:
Ingrid Solheim from StS Gruppen. She was awarded the prize for commitment and active involvement at various levels within the profession of surface treatment. Especially her persistent efforts to ensure that we have increased focus on the recruitment challenges within our industry.

Insulation:
KRISO (Korean Research Institute of Ships & Ocean Engineering) was awarded the prize awarded the prize for extraordinary effort to increase the level and awareness of FROSIO insulation education in South Korea.
